A starburst cluster of old mine and old European cut diamonds, weighing approximately 3.00 carats total, are set across the openwork gold of this revival pendant brooch. Black enamel picks out the scrolled panels behind the diamond-set petals, and every stone sits in its own beaded collet. Both cuts were shaped by hand, with small tables and high crowns that return a broad, soft flash under low light. It pins to a lapel or collar and converts to a pendant on a chain, with enough spread to carry on a jacket.
