Vintage 14K Gold Starburst Black Enamel and Diamond Hoop Huggies Earrings

A starburst motif in black enamel on the front of these mid-century huggie hoop earrings in 14-karat two-tone gold, set with 36 round brilliant diamonds totaling approximately 0.54 carats. White gold stars in graduated sizes are worked across the black enamel face, with diamonds set at the star centers and where the lines meet, and yellow gold at the tops. Huggie hoops take their name from how closely the hoop sits against the earlobe. The face is wide at the base and tapers toward the top, so the hoops sit flat against the lobe and wear easily every day.
