Vintage 18K Gold 0.75 Carat Emerald and Diamond Ribbed Huggie Hoop Earring

Two pear-shaped emeralds, weighing 0.75 carats total, are bezel-set within fluted 18-karat gold huggie hoops from the 1980s. Twenty-eight round brilliant diamonds, weighing 0.50 carats total, are pavé-set in a diagonal panel across each hoop, opposite the emerald. Ribbed, fluted gold was a signature texture in 1980s jewelry design, adding dimension to the metal's surface. The huggie shape sits close to the earlobe, keeping the emerald and diamond detail visible without adding noticeable weight.
