This vintage platinum ballerina ring centers an 11.70-carat cushion-oval sapphire in deep blue, with a GIA report. A double halo of round brilliant and tapered baguette diamonds fans outward from the stone in two tiers. The style is known as a ballerina setting for the way the diamonds fan outward from the center to mimic a tutu, a design that became highly popular by the mid-20th century.
