The pair shifts slightly in tone, with one stone a brighter blue and the other a softer, paler shade. The emerald cut is a step cut, faceted in long parallel planes with clipped corners that help protect the stone from chipping. Round diamonds line each side of the deep gold frame, which holds the stones well off the chest and gives the pendant a bold, dimensional presence just below the collarbone.
