A smaller malachite bead of matching carving sits above it, joined down the chain by diamond-set links. Malachite's banded pattern forms in layers as copper deposits alter underground, giving each carved piece its own striping. The two-tier drop swings freely at the chest, adding movement to the pendant's length.
