An emerald-cut Zambian emerald of approximately 4 carats centers this Italian 18-karat white gold dome ring, surrounded by 10 carats of diamonds. Rose cuts in graduated sizes tile the dome in a cobblestone arrangement, with round brilliants pavé-set down the shoulders and a scatter of flush-set stones carrying onto the polished band. Rose-cut diamonds are faceted on top and flat underneath, which gives them their broad, soft flash rather than the fire of a brilliant. The dome sits high and wide across the finger and wears as a statement ring, with a sprung shank that eases it over the knuckle.
