Estate Platinum 4.33 Carat Australian Black Opal and Diamond Ring

A 4.33 carat Australian black opal cabochon centers this platinum and iridium ring, flashing green and blue across a deep, dark body. Black opal is named for that dark base, which makes its play-of-color read more vividly than the same colors would against a pale stone. Pavé-set diamonds continue halfway down each shoulder before the band smooths out and tapers toward the base. The wide bezel holds the opal low and close to the hand, so it wears comfortably as an everyday statement ring.
