Italian 14K White Gold Tanzanite & Diamond Drop Necklace

A 0.89 carat pear-shaped tanzanite in soft violet-blue hangs at the end of this 14-karat white gold diamond drop necklace. Above it, a prong-set round diamond anchors the chain, and three bezel-set diamonds step down to a pavé diamond frame around the tanzanite. Tanzanite is strongly pleochroic, so its color shifts between blue and violet as the stone turns. The drop keeps the tanzanite centered below the neck, while diamonds stationed along the fine chain carry the sparkle out toward the collarbone.
