Vintage 1950s 18K Gold Carved Jade and 0.40 Carat Diamond Floral Bangle Bracelet

Four oval carved green jade plaques set the front of this 18-karat yellow gold bangle bracelet from the 1950s. Textured gold leaves fan out between them, each one with a round brilliant diamond at the center. Carved jade panels like these draw on a long East Asian lapidary tradition, mounted here in Western goldwork. The bangle closes with a wide clasp and safety buckle, and its shallow, close-fitting profile keeps it sitting flat against the wrist.
