A raised diamond plaque centers this 14-karat yellow gold bangle bracelet from the 1970s, prong-set with seven round brilliant-cut diamonds weighing 0.60 carats total. Scrolling engraved detail carries around the band on either side of the plaque. The bangle opens on a hinge and closes with a box clasp fitted with double safety locks, a security feature common to bangles of this period. Rigid and hinged, it sits close to the wrist and keeps the diamond plaque facing forward when worn.
