This 18-karat yellow gold lion wrap ring from the 1970s features a sculpted lion's head with seven single-cut diamonds set across the brow in white gold. Lion-head rings were a defining trend in 1970s statement jewelry, favored for the sculptural texture they gave cast pieces. The scrolling relief of the mane wraps fully around the shank in an open bypass design.
