Vintage 1970s Italian Floral Cocktail Ring 14K Yellow Gold

Two furled, petal-like forms curl across the face of this 1970s Italian 14-karat yellow gold cocktail ring, set on a split shank. A soft satin finish covers the petals, and bright diamond-cut notches trace every edge. Diamond-cut detailing takes its name from the diamond-tipped tool used to carve these small faceted grooves into the gold. The raised head gives the ring a sculptural statement-ring profile, and the shank narrows underneath to sit close against the neighboring fingers.
