Sapphire and diamond cluster cocktail ring in seventeen-karat white gold, dating to the 1980s. Thirteen oval and pear-cut blue sapphires build the cluster around a central stone, framed edge to edge by thirty round brilliant-cut diamonds. Cluster rings on this scale were a signature of 1980s cocktail jewelry, when a single ring was designed to fill the hand.
