Chopard's Happy Diamonds watch in eighteen-karat yellow gold dates to the 1980s and runs on a quartz movement. A dual diamond-set bezel encircles the case, while five loose diamonds move freely between the twin sapphire crystals above a champagne dial. Chopard introduced the free-moving diamond concept in 1976, encasing loose stones between two sapphire crystals as one of its most recognized designs. Paired with its black leather strap, the compact gold case sits close to the wrist and wears as easily as a fine diamond bracelet.
