Vintage Kinsley & Sons Men's 10K Yellow Gold Masonic Ring - Size 15.25

Kinsley & Sons made this vintage men's Masonic ring in 10-karat yellow gold, with an oval purple stone at the center beneath an applied gold square and compasses and a blue-enameled G. The square and compasses is the central emblem of Freemasonry, and the G at its heart is commonly read as standing for God or Geometry. Tapering shoulders are engraved in a textured pattern picked out with black enamel, and each side carries a pierced emblem in blue and white enamel. The head stands well up from the finger while the band narrows toward the back, so the ring shows a broad face and the slim back sits easily between the fingers.
